With two WNBL championships, an Olympic selection, and a FIBA World Cup Bronze on her resume, Sara Blicavs has nothing left to prove on the court. But the fire still burns for the veteran forward as she attacked rehab from back surgery with the determination to come back and re-establish herself among the game’s best. Step one is complete – she earned herself another Opals call-up for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup. The next step is the WNBL, where she takes her versatile inside-outside game to Canberra with a mission to help lead the Capitals back to championship contention.
