The UC Capitals are proud to stand alongside Toora Women as our Official Charity Partner for the WNBL27 season.

Being a part of the UC Capitals is about more than what happens on the court. We’re proud to use our platform to give back to the Canberra community and support organisations making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

For more than 40 years, Toora has supported, connected and advocated for Canberra women and children impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, corrections involvement, substance dependency and trauma. Their work helps women create better life outcomes and drives positive change across our community.

Throughout WNBL27, the Capitals will use our platform to amplify Toora’s work, raise funds and awareness of the challenges facing women and children in the ACT, and help connect our community with the support and services available.
