The UC Capitals are bringing even more energy to AIS Arena this WNBL season, partnering with Eden Dance Academy to introduce the brand-new Caps Dance Crew at home games throughout the 2026/27 season.
The partnership will see talented performers from Eden Dance Academy take to the court throughout the season, adding a new element of entertainment to the UC Capitals’ game-day experience and helping get fans on their feet from tip-off to the final buzzer.
The Caps Dance Crew will be at every home game, engaging with fans in the fan zone, delivering dance routines, and bringing energy and plenty of Caps spirit to AIS Arena.
UC Capitals Executive General Manager Christy Collier-Hill said the Club was excited to welcome Eden Dance Academy into the Caps family.
“We know that a great game-day experience is about so much more than what happens on the court, and the Caps Dance Crew is going to bring another level of energy and excitement to AIS Arena,” Collier-Hill said.
“The Caps are all about connecting with our community and creating opportunities for young people, so this partnership is a really natural fit for us. We can’t wait to see the crew out there and hear the crowd get behind them.”
For Eden Dance Academy, the partnership provides dancers with the chance to take their skills beyond the studio and perform in a professional sporting environment in front of thousands of fans.
With the 2026/27 WNBL season fast approaching, fans can expect plenty of action both on and off the court when the Capitals return to AIS Arena.
The UC Capitals will host their WNBL27 home opener against Bendigo Spirit on Saturday, October 17, with the Caps Dance Crew helping kick off a new era of game-day entertainment.
