The UC Capitals have bounced back after back-to-back losses with a convincing 34-point win over the Bendigo Spirit on Sunday afternoon.

It seemed the Capitals were bound for a win from the jump with 9 point lead at quarter time and a margin that kept growing thereafter.

Kelsey Griffin, Britt Sykes and Alex Bunton put up 16 points apiece but it was Jade Melbourne who led the way with a season-high 19 points.

The Bendigo Spirit were hamstrung without key players in Tessa Lavey and Maddie Garrick, but the UC Capitals managed to keep Anneli Maley to 15 points - less than half of what she scored the first time the two teams met.

The UC Capitals will go onto play the Sydney Flames at home on Friday night for the first time since Round 1.
