In a late game day decision, Kelsey Griffin suited up for the first time since suffering nasal and orbital fractures in the season opening game.

Leading all scorers to mark her comeback, Griffin finished with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

The UC Capitals will now prepare for their next home game on Wednesday, January 5 to take on the Sydney Flames. It will be Kelly Wilson's 400th WNBL game as she maintains the record for the most games played.
