The UC Capitals are heading west for HoopsFest Perth presented by Virgin Australia – Australasia's biggest basketball, culture and lifestyle festival – and we want you there with us!
From 13–17 January 2027, HoopsFest will take over RAC Arena, bringing every WNBL and NBL team together for five nights of double-headers and an unforgettable celebration of basketball.
For Caps fans, it's the perfect opportunity to follow the team on the road, experience the excitement of a major basketball festival and show the rest of the country what Canberra supporters are made of.
But HoopsFest is about much more than what's happening on the court.
Here's what you can look forward to:
- Five nights of basketball: Watch every WNBL and NBL team in action, with double-headers across the festival.
- NBA star power: Get the chance to see DeMarcus Cousins courtside and experience one of basketball's biggest personalities in person.
- Sneakerland: Explore Australia's largest celebration of sneaker culture, included with every RAC Arena game-day ticket.
- Bounce Nation Fan Zone: Head to Forrest Place for a free five-day festival packed with basketball, entertainment and activities.
- More basketball experiences: Community clinics, grassroots activations and open training sessions will bring fans closer to the game.
And while you're making the trip from Canberra, why not turn it into a summer getaway? Explore Perth's beaches, enjoy the city's vibrant food and entertainment scene or venture further afield to experience everything Western Australia has to offer.
Whether you're travelling with family, friends or making a trip of it solo, we'd love to see a sea of blue in the stands cheering on the Capitals.
Tickets, travel packages and the full HoopsFest program are available now.
