The UC Capitals are thrilled to announce that four-time championship winner and UC Capitals legend Tracey Peacock (née Beatty) has officially joined the club as Team Manager for the 2026/27 WNBL season.
From 2005 Peacock represented the Capitals across six WNBL seasons, helping the club claim four Championships during that time.
After serving as Team Manager in a volunteer capacity last season, Peacock will now step into the role on a part-time basis, travelling with the team throughout the season and playing a vital role in supporting the players and coaching staff both on and off the court. Most recently, she served as Team Manager for the Australian Sapphires at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup, bringing valuable international experience back to the Capitals program.
UC Capitals Executive General Manager Christy Collier-Hill said formalising the role reflected the club's commitment to building a world-class high-performance environment.
"Tracey is a true Caps legend who understands exactly what this club stands for. She has already made a significant contribution behind the scenes, so we're delighted to officially welcome her into the role. Her experience, professionalism and genuine care for our athletes make her an invaluable part of our program.”
Peacock said she was honoured to continue her journey with the club.
"The Capitals have always been a huge part of my life, so it's incredibly special to continue giving back in this role. I'm excited to support our players and coaches throughout the season and help create an environment where everyone can perform at their best."
Peacock's appointment is another important step in strengthening the Capitals' high-performance program as the club prepares for the 2026/27 WNBL season.
