The University of Canberra Capitals have welcomed a group of local businesses into the club’s corporate partner family for the 2026/27 WNBL season, with each taking on the unique role of Official Player Sponsor.

Revealed at the UC Capitals Season Launch, the player sponsors will stand alongside their selected players throughout WNBL27, joining the Capitals’ growing network of corporate partners while enjoying an exclusive suite of game-day, hospitality and player experiences.

The sponsorships provide businesses with the opportunity to build a connection with the Capitals and their players, while showing their support for women’s basketball and the team representing Canberra on the national stage.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome this group of businesses into our corporate partner family and to see them put their names behind the players who represent Canberra on the national stage,” said UC Capitals Executive General Manager Christy Collier-Hill.

“We’re grateful for the continued investment from Canberra businesses in our club and in women’s basketball. Their support helps us continue to deliver an incredible experience for our fans and our players.”

The UC Capitals thank all of this season’s player sponsors for backing the team and helping Carry the Torch into WNBL27.
